By integrating augmented reality (AR) applications on the subject of “Castles, Parks and Gardens” into Facebook Spark AR, the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) is attaining another way of inspiring potential visitors and encouraging them to take a trip to Germany.
Since November 2019, Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenzollern Castle and Sanssouci Castle have been featured in a “Winter Wonderland” video on Facebook. A “Spring Awakening” offering will feature Augustusburg Castle, Herrenhäuser Gardens, and the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz / Wörlitz Castle.
