November 9, 1989, is the day the Berlin Wall fell and is one of the most remarkable events in recent history as it symbolized the starting point for the reunification of Germany on October 3, 1990, and the advent into freedom. The city will celebrate this historic 35th anniversary with several events throughout 2024. After more than three decades since its fall, the Wall continues to attract visitors from all over the world and was the third most visited museum and memorial in 2022.
