Some three years ago, I reported on taking a genealogy institute course called “Intermediate German Research”, but it’s taken me until now to give you readers the sequel to those writings.
In summer 2025, I again attended the GRIP Genealogy Institute to take “Advanced German Research” from the same teaching duo of the intermediate course: F. Warren Bittner and Daniel Jones. Bittner is a longtime independent researcher and Certified Genealogist who has worked for both Ancestry Pro Genealogists and FamilySearch, and Jones is an Accredited Genealogist and on staff at the FamilySearch Library.
