Hazel Katherine Stiebeling (March 20, 1896 – May 18, 1989)

An early pioneer in the field of nutrition, Hazel was born to German immigrants Adam Stiebeling, who came from Saasen in central Hessen, and Elizabeth Brand, who was born in Ersode just south of Kassel. Together they had six children whom they raised on a farm in Haskins, Ohio.
